‘Star Tours’ Updates Coming, To Include ‘Ahsoka’, ‘The Mandalorian’, and ‘Andor’ Content

New updates are coming to Star Tours II: The Adventure Continues in Disneyland (California), Disney World (Florida), and Disneyland Paris later this year!

The ride will be receiving a major update to include new material from the Star Wars Disney+ series that have been released in the last few years. A new mission themed around the 2023 series Ahsoka will take riders to the planet Seatos. Additionally, riders will soon be able to receive urgent messages from Ahsoka Tano, Cassian Andor, and Din Djarin and Grogu. The new additions will launch on April 5th.

New images from the ride updates, as well as a teaser video, were released and can be seen below,

This is the first major update to Star Tours since 2019. The ride first opened in 2011, replacing the original Star Tours which had been a Disney Parks staple since 1989. The relaunch was updated to include experiences based on all six of George Lucas’ Star Wars films and was groundbreaking in the way the experiences varied every ride. Updates to the ride were added in 2015, 2017, and 2019 to coincide with the release of the sequel trilogy films and featured the casts of those films reprising their roles in the ride.
