‘Star Wars’ Comics Author Ethan Sacks To Join The Tractor Beam This Week!
The Tractor Beam is welcoming its first official guest from the world of Star Wars publishing this week!
Comics author Ethan Sacks, who just recently wrapped up the ongoing Star Wars: Bounty Hunters series with issue #42, will sit down with hosts Matthew Neugebauer and Chris “Starrpater” Abbott to discuss the series conclusion as well as his other experiences writing Star Wars comics. The interview will give the audience a peak behind the scenes into the creation of Star Wars comic books, as well as Ethan’s writing process.
In addition to Bounty Hunters, Ethan has also written the mini-series Star Wars: Alliegance (released in 2019 as part of the “Journey to The Rise of Skywalker publishing initiative), Star Wars: Halcyon Legacy (which tied in with both The High Republic and the short-lived hotel experience Galactic Starcruiser), and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge (which connected with the opening of the Galaxy’s Edge theme park expansions in Disneyland and Disney World).
He also appeared alongside Chris (and SWU Podcast host Dominic Jones) on the “Bounty Hunters, Smugglers, and Gangsters: The Scum and Villainy Through the Years” panel at Star Wars Celebration London in 2023. You can watch that panel here.
