The SWU Podcast is Going on Hiatus in Support of SAG-AFTRA and The WGA

The show is being paused.

In light of new guidelines brought forth by SAGA-FTRA we have seen fit to pause our content in solidarity with those currently striking. We have reached out to SAG and will proceed based on their recommendations. In the meantime, the SWU Podcast will be on a temporary hiatus and our social media presence will be limited. We thank you all for understanding.

Right now our #1 goal is to support the workers in Hollywood as much as we can. Without them, none of the #StarWars stories we’ve enjoyed for the past 46 years would have been possible. It’s why we’re asking everyone in our audience to donate to the Entertainment Community Fund which provides assistance to those in need during this critical time. And to the powers that be at the AMPTP and studios, we say this; Pay your writers. Pay your actors. Bring a fair deal to the table and allow these brilliant artists to continue creating more amazing stories for us to enjoy. Bring the strikes to an end so we can all get back to doing what we love.

To all those who’ve supported The SWU over the years, we send much love and gratitude to you. We hope to be back and fully functional very soon! But until then, the Force will be with you… always.
